Strasburg Railroad

by: Rich Hauck

I gave Daphyn the day off to go on an apple sauce and salsa-making tear while my mom and I took the boys to the Strasburg Railroad (right outside of Lancaster, Pa.).

I thought it was a little pricey for tickets, though that may be because I bought museum tickets (and missed the museum, again). In any case, I suppose I can appreciate the cost, since they say it takes about $250k to restore each train car.

You may notice in one of the shots that Grayson’s covering his ears. He proceeded to do this throughout the duration of the ride, too. Alas, It appears that the cold, harsh reality of just how loud “Choo Choo!” really is set in.
