Washington Square Park

by: Rich Hauck

Ironically, I’m beginning to appreciate how photogenic New York is, only after I’ve stopped living there. Here’s a few shots of Washington Square Park in the morning.

Someone left their chess set, minus the kings and queens. Sure, it’s unplayable, but I’m still impressed that they left such potential souvenirs.

I left my Joe in the shot.

My wife, who’s not a baseball fan, was thrilled that I left my Yankees hat at home. I have to admit it felt weird wearing it last time I visited. I suppose the transformation is complete, though next time, I won’t wear a wool cap in 90 degree weather.
